Etno kuća Petrović sits in Shtërpcë, at the foot of the Brezovica ski area in the Sharr mountains. Guests come for the rooms, the home cooking and the welcome: cyclists after a long ride, hikers, skiers and New Year groups of mountain walkers. Ask us, and we can often find you a bed at short notice.
Large, spotless rooms with comfy beds and old-world furniture: carved wood, framed paintings and woven runners on the floor.
Dinner is cooked at home by your host, on request: grilled meats, stews, fresh salads, homemade pies and desserts guests still write about. Nobody leaves the table hungry.
A sunny, stone-paved courtyard with wooden tables, old cart wheels and a welcome drink from the house: homemade plum brandy, poured in the garden.
Guests call it authentic. The house is full of carved wood, embroidery, copper pots and antique sofas, set around a stone-paved courtyard and garden. Your host welcomes you with a glass of homemade plum brandy, cooks dinner on request and makes room for tired cyclists, hikers and skiers, often at short notice.
